Original DAR specifications were written by Sergey Abramov - Java developer who participated in complex J2EE projects since year 2001. Working in different teams for different companies Sergey Abramov had a chance to observe weak points of the projects and gather good patterns applied by team members. Couple of years later he figured out DAR specifications that allow to develop distributed Java applications - easily scalable, maintainable and extendable.
